All these things cause us to lose focus and doubt the sovereignty of our God
Check these ladies in the Bible and what they had to deal with. Most of them came through with strength and enjoyed the benefits of facing the tough times. One (Mrs. Lot) did not.

· Mary - The biggest miracle of her life - have a baby while still a virgin?

· Mrs. Lot - The biggest salt shaker of her life - she couldn't stand the thought of losing all her fine china and the new deck and all the stuff she had built in Sodom. So she disobeyed the instructions of the angel and looked back. So she was turned into a pillar of salt. A pillar of reminder to all of us to rise above our thoughts and emotions. Our feelings. Our hurts. All those things deep inside that can make us……….or break us.

· Understand that pain is part of the package. In life you will go through many things.
· Understand that you serve a mighty, awesome, sovereign God. There is nothing, absolutely nothing that you will encounter in this lifetime that God will not give you strength to endure. No matter what you face, never lose sight of the fact that God is still sovereign! Even if your prayers don't get answered, GOD IS STILL SOVEREIGN. Shadrach, Meshack and Abed-Nego made a decision concerning God's sovereignty. They decided not to bow, even if God didn't save them:
· Daniel 3:16-18 Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego answered and said to the king, "O Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need to answer you in this matter. If that is the case, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver us from you hand, O king. But if not, let it be known to you, O king, that we do not serve your gods, nor will we worship the gold image which you have set up."
The world needs some "not-gonna-bow-and-not-gonna-burn"

sovereignty come what may!
